A tribute to six regions of Guatemala, each represented through symbolic elements and forms that transform everyday bus stops into expressions of local identity. By integrating cultural and natural references into functional spaces, the project connects users with the essence of each location, turning routine moments into experiences rooted in heritage, landscape, and collective memory.
Each piece incorporates iconic symbols that reflect the identity and environment of its region, making them meaningful landmarks within the urban context.
In Cobán, clouds and the ceiba tree pay homage to the wisdom and grandeur of the cloud forest.
Narrative capsules were developed to explore the history, monuments, and everyday life of each region.
These stories highlight picturesque streets, cultural traditions, and the unique character of each town and community.
