A tribute to six regions of Guatemala, each represented through symbolic elements and forms that transform everyday bus stops into expressions of local identity. By integrating cultural and natural references into functional spaces, the project connects users with the essence of each location, turning routine moments into experiences rooted in heritage, landscape, and collective memory.
Each piece incorporates iconic symbols that reflect the identity and environment of its region, making them meaningful landmarks within the urban context.
In Cobán, clouds and the ceiba tree pay homage to the wisdom and grandeur of the cloud forest.
In the city, the design honors Efraín Recinos, drawing from his iconic work inspired by animals, objects, and the Guatemalan landscape.
In Escuintla, flowing waves represent the tropical climate, warmth, and vibrant spirit of its people.
